Taylor Riggs is officially a mom of two!

The Fox Business star, 39, welcomed her second baby, daughter Louisa Adeline, with husband Bryan Kolterman on Friday, July 18, at 11:26 a.m. The Big Money Show co-host, who is also mom to 23-month-old daughter Rodell, announced the news exclusively with PEOPLE and on the Monday broadcast of the Fox Business show.

The newly minted mom of two tells PEOPLE that she “couldn’t be happier” to welcome her new addition. She also adds that she “can’t wait to watch my daughters grow up” and share a “special bond” with each other.

“I couldn’t be happier to be a mom of two girls,” she tells PEOPLE. “Growing up, I had two older sisters, so I’m really excited to have two daughters. I know the special bond that sisters have with each other, and I can’t wait to watch my daughters grow up and have the same bond with each other. Being a wife and a mom is one of the most special gifts I’ve been given.”

Riggs’ newborn daughter’s name has special ties to their family.

“We love family names,” the girl mom of two says. “We named her Louisa after my husband‘s grandfather, whose name was Louis. Adeline is my daughter’s great, great, great, great-grandmother, born in 1823. My husband‘s great-grandmother was named Adelina.”

Riggs tells PEOPLE that Louisa was her little “warrior,” the meaning of her moniker, as she was born in the backseat of a Lyft on the way to the hospital.

“She came really fast! I was laboring at home for a only a couple hours before I went to the hospital. There was a moment when my doula and I looked at each other and said, ‘I think we need to go to the hospital,’ but I underestimated how fast my girl would come and how much New York City traffic we would face!” she tells PEOPLE.

“We were a few blocks away from the hospital, stuck in traffic, trying to dodge potholes, and my baby girl was born. I am so grateful for my doula, Tymaree, who delivered my baby in the backseat and helped make sure Louisa was safe, breathing, and warm until we arrived,” she continues. “I’m really also grateful for my husband, who remained calm while calling the hospital ahead of time to tell them we were coming in very hot, also calling 911, and running through the front doors of the hospital when we arrived to tell them, ‘My wife just gave birth in a car. The baby is in the car.’”

Riggs says that the “entire hospital staff came running out” to help them. After a nurse cut the umbilical cord in the backseat of the car, the nurse and her husband went inside to make sure that the newborn was okay. They then brought out a stretcher to take Riggs to the labor and delivery room.

The Fox Business anchor later learned that the hospital ironically intended to run a drill in the afternoon that would demonstrate how to deliver babies curbside.

“I want to give a huge thanks to the hospital staff for everything they did to show up for us curbside,” she tells PEOPLE. “I also want to give a big shout-out to the Lyft driver. He was very calm under pressure, tried to avoid the potholes, but was also trying to get us to the hospital as quickly as he could. He’ll always be a special part of our story.”

Riggs tells PEOPLE that her older daughter, Rodell, is “really excited” and that they’ve been preparing her to step into the role of big sister.

“We think my older daughter Rodell is really excited!” she says. “To prepare for this moment, we’ve been reading her lots of books about what it means to be a big sister, how she can help us, and what she can do to play with her little sister.”

“We want Rodell to feel special during this time too, so on maternity leave, I’m committed to doing something alone with her once a week, so she and I can maintain our bond,” she adds.

As for what the mom of two is most looking forward to with her baby girl joining the family, Riggs jokes about the shifted power dynamic in her family now that there’s three girls.

“I joke that I’m most excited that my husband is now really outnumbered! Between a wife and two girls, we get more voting power over him for our next family vacation,” she quips. “He and I say we can’t wait to take trips as a family already, where maybe we’ll send my husband golfing and I’ll get to take my daughters on a spa day.”

She adds, “But until those days, we’re most excited to settle down and get into the daily routine as a family of four where we can enjoy each other’s company, meals together, and reading and playing all together.”
